IP based telephony had been widely adopted by big multinational companies as they realize the advantage of having latest telephony technology in order to keep up with the challenges of the corporate world. The goals of IP based telephony communications system are to improve employee productivity and efficiency, simplify maintenance and reduce costs for the business. SIP has been widely adopted in the VoIP industry due to high interest in its application, and the industry believe that SIP will become the de facto standard for Voice communication.
